Chef Lenny Messina, CEPC

Lenny Messina is a certified Executive Pastry Chef, currently with 30 years of experience in the culinary and pastry fields. Chef Messina is a Pastry Chef Instructor at the Culinary Academy of Long Island.  He was the executive pastry chef at Lehman Brothers Corporate Dining Services in New York City for 19 years.  With an additional 7 years previous experience as a pastry cook and baker at the Garden City Hotel. 

Chef Messina attended the New York City Technical College and received an Associates degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management.  In addition, Chef Messina has taken continuing education classes at the Culinary Institute of America and Johnsonand Wales University.  Chef Messina has also attended the World Pastry Forum in Phoenix, Arizona and Nashville, learning from some the best chefs in the world.

Chef Messina's awards include 3 ribbons representing the four star Garden City Hotel at the sociate Culinarie Philantthropique Food Show in New York City.  In 1998 he was named member of the year by the American Culinary Federation, 2005 Pastry Chef of the year and in 2008 Chef Educator of the year.  Chef Messina is a member of The Chefs De Cuisine, NYC, American Culinary Federation and the Baking and Pastry Guild of Long Island.

Chef Messina is Serv-Safe certified and has NYC Food Handlers Permit.

Winnie Citerrela


Winnie has enjoyed the food service industry for 15 years.  She is a Culinary Arts School graduate with honors. She was the owner/Chef of   “Winning Dishes” and handled all aspects of off premise catering on the North shore of Long Island.  As a testament to her success she has cooked for many celebrities on Long Island and New York City.  She prides herself in creating great dishes.   As a native of Jamaica, Winnie her dishes benefit from unique flavors and flare while combining various native techniques of her home land. Every dish she creates must incorporate fresh herbs.   She takes pride in telling people that her fresh herbs and style is her secret culinary weapon to fine cuisine. Her favorite dishes include Curried goat, jerk chicken and braised oxtails.

Winnie joined the Bella Skye family in 2008 and is instrumental in bringing off premise catering to the fore front of our Craft and Catering service to the Movie and Television industry.

Pat Goodridge


Pat has enjoyed working in the food industry for 30 years.  She is a culinary arts graduate with honors and top of her class as well as receiving the “Chef Professional” award, one of the highest honors given to a graduating student, as a testament to her commitment,  Pat decided to go back to school and earned a Pastry Chef degree.

She has owned and operated a very successful gourmet deli and catering company in Merrick, New York.

She joined Bella Skye as a chef in 2004, bringing her unique skill and talent to our company.  She specializes in cold platter presentations and is one of our top Garde Manger chefs. We believe her cooking style is to be admired.  Pat has the ability to create amazing and flawless dishes. As a local in the long island community, she prides herself in using only locally grown ingredients in all her dishes.  She has an ability to combine old school techniques with new innovative ones resulting in homemade comfort and complex cuisines.  For example,  Pat is known for her signature shrimp burgers combined with a homemade chipotle mayonnaise.

Besides her innovative culinary techniques, she bakes amazing deserts in collaboration with our corporate Chef Lenny Messina.
